HR Business Partner - Employee Relations focus, Greater Manchester - with national travel as required
To circa £35,000

What is the role?

We are searching for a Business Partner with extensive Employee Relations experience, on preferably an immediate or shortly available basis.

Whilst it is predominantly based in Manchester, the role is required to travel to other sites across the UK (specifically London) which could mean an overnight stay potentially weekly or bi-weekly.

A multi million £ turnover, leading organisation within a specialist services field. They have presence across the UK and are incredibly fast paced from a cultural perspective. You will also be a valued member of the HR team joining supportive passionate high calibre colleagues and a true HR partner to the business.

Tell me more about the role?

You will be the first point of contact for Employee Relations advice. We are looking for an Employee Relations Business Partner to provide advice and support to Line Managers on day to day Employee Relations matters and General HR Policy and procedures, this will involve case management of complex ER cases, supporting, training and coaching supporting managers as required.

What are they looking for?

A proven track record of Employee Relations (disciplinary and grievance case management) within a fast paced, commercial services environment on a multi-site basis. Combined with the ability and know-how of how to manage a high volume of ER cases. An expert knowledge of current UK employment legislation and case law is paramount. Strong stakeholder management skills are really vital in this role, alongside a personal robustness/resilience.

How about qualifications?

Preferably CIPD qualified or with a relevant HR qualification
