Organisational Change and Development Practitioner

The OD and Change (OD&C) Management team at SQA is undergoing a period of growth to support the delivery of strategic change with a particular emphasis on developing the change agility of the organisation’s people and processes. We are therefore looking to recruit high caliber talented individuals to join the team and support our transformation.
Two new positions have been created as Organisational Change and Development Practitioners to help shape and deliver the new OD&C strategy by delivering innovative and creative transformational change projects through the application of leading edge change management and training practices.
Successful candidates must be tenacious, comfortable in coaching colleagues of all levels on change management techniques and able to quickly understand the environment in which they are operating.
Candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate their change agility skills and experience, be creative in their approach to delivering what is expected of them, have people at the heart of all that they do and, above all, are demonstrably enthusiastic about change delivery.
In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- Creating change management strategies and plans
- Designing and delivering change management training interventions
- Managing a portfolio of change projects in a complex, regulated multi-site environment
- Contributing to strategy development
Additionally you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Application of change management tools and techniques
- Project management
- Excellent communication skills involving presenting, influencing, facilitation, coaching and report writing
Developing organisational change management capability and agility
Post-holders need to be educated to degree level SCQF 9 with a professional qualification in change management eg PROSCI or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience at a senior level.
These opportunities are new positions in the OD&C team, so the ability to build and develop these positions from scratch means we aren’t looking for run of the mill individuals but rather those with passion and direction which will be assessed as part of the rigorous selection process which will include presentations, assessments and an in-depth interview to assess your suitability for the demands of what we’re looking for.
This selection process will require around 3 hours of your time and is expected to be held week commencing 30th October 2017.
