Mander Portman Woodward (MPW) was founded in 1973 and is one of London’s best known independent colleges. Situated in South Kensington, the college is fully co-educational and accepts over 600 students each year. Students are prepared for GCSE, A level, university and Oxbridge Entrance.
MPW London is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated HR professional to manage the college’s HR function and to ensure that all regulatory, legislative and statutory requirements are met, particularly in relation to safer recruitment practices. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Principal and will provide wide and varied HR advice and support. Particular focus will be on the application of HR processes relating to recruitment, capability, discipline, grievance and sickness absence as well as involvement in the payroll process. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of college policies and strategies and take a lead role on projects, as well as support other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be CIPD qualified with proven experience in a broad range of HR disciplines. Experience of working in an educational environment would be an advantage.
