Permanent role , flexible hours available, hands-on busy role in a professional setting

Our client employs 400 staff across 3 sites which includes a wide range of professional & blue collar employees.
This is a newly created role to join an established team of 3 who provide a high quality HR service.
Your role will be extremely diverse including taking responsibility for case work around short & long term sickness, disciplinaries & grievances & performance management .You will also be involved in creating & updating new policies alongside general HR administration. There is also the opportunity to undertake various projects including reviewing the staff appraisal system and performance management process aswell as looking at organisational change as & when this happens.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified ( Level 5) and bring previous experience from an Advisory level position. You will have a confident and outgoing approach and easily build relationships with colleagues across the organisation.
You will need to have a tenacious approach & be prepared on occasions that decision making may not be as quick as you would hope for !

This is a permanent role available ideally on a 5 day a week basis (8.30 or 9.00 start ) however options are available for TERM TIME only ( 39 weeks ) or Term time + 4 weeks if required.

Aswell as a competitive salary and flexible working hours you will also be entitled to join the local authority pension scheme and will be entitled to 25 days holidays + Bank Holidays.
