Our client is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a range of housing, training and support services to vulnerable adults disadvantaged by housing circumstances or social need.
Our client currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager to join their organisation based at their training centre in Bradford. You will responsible for providing a professional and proactive service across the organisation to ensure employees and volunteers have the skills, knowledge and development opportunities to deliver business objectives.
You will assess individual, departmental and organisational learning and development needs, identify and assess appropriate learning and development options and solutions to achieve their strategic objectives and design and deliver a range of training and management development programmes. With the support of the L&D assistant, you will lead and manage the effectiveness of the e-learning and LMS system.
Additionally, you will develop a cohort of in-house trainers to assist in the delivery of core training modules and source and evaluate external training providers.
Their ideal candidate will be a highly credible and self-sufficient Learning and Development professional with a CIPD or equivalent qualification in Learning and Development. You will be skilled at analysing needs and designing and delivering engaging training and development programmes. You will be a strong facilitator and coach, confident presenting and delivering to a wide audience. You will be an excellent communicator with an ability to influence others. Ideally, you will have a clean driving licence and access to own transport for work purposes.
