I have an opportunity for a versatile HR Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave, working for a prestigious Public Sector organisation.
You will be the point of contact for employee queries and will be responsible for giving generalist HR advice, in particular around pay, employee relations, maternity/paternity etc. It will be useful if you have good employment law knowledge and some experience of preparing paperwork for employee relations cases.
You will also be responsible for maintaining the HR system, ensuring that data is accurate and producing reports in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
It is important that you have good communication skills, are able to use HR systems and have experience of working within a similar HR role.
