Senior HR Advisor - Greater Manchester - 18 month contract (strong possibility of permanent) - Upto £40,000

What is the role?

A truly generalist Senior HR Advisor position with responsibility for a specific client group. This role will require a solid multi tasker, as the day will include managing complex ER issues while supporting managers with the basics, handling various projects such as org design and change programmes resulting from business growth, and leading on business wide initiatives. You will also be involved in recruitment at the latter stages (offer management and on-boarding). You will also be expected to work with the wider HR team on continuous improvement of systems and processes, and any input and idea will be welcomed.

The client group are really engaged with HR, and welcome their input, therefore this is a great opportunity to make a real impact amongst individuals who recognise the value you can add.

What are they looking for?

A HR generalist with a solid grasp of up to date employment legislation, along with the ability and desire to own and lead projects across a multi site, diverse workforce. Although there is HR Admin support available, the Senior HR Advisor will also need to be comfortable with some admin as part of the role.

You will also be a great relationship builder and influencer, with the confidence and credibility to interact with senior stakeholders, various levels of employees and unions / third party representatives.

This role is initially being offered on an 18 month fixed term contract, however due to ongoing growth it is highly likely to become a permanent role.
