HR Co-Ordinator, fast paced business, based in Wigan.

Your new company
Working for a fast paced manufacturing business based in Wigan my client is now seeking a skilled and experienced HR Assistant to join the organisation on a permanent full time basis.

Your new role

Joining a HR team of 7 and employees of over 1000 on site you will take responsibility of approximately 400 employees and all employee relations, managing case work daily, supporting line managers with process, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to.

A fast paced and diverse workforce you will manage general disciplinary and grievances, monitoring and processing all sickness absence, starters and leavers, general advice and guidance. Other responsibilities:


* Carry out weekly paid and Band A and B salaried recruitment working with line managers to ensure achievement of agreed manning levels, quality and skills requirements

* Co-ordinate the weekly absence management process working with Line Managers to highlight absence issues and ensure appropriate action is taken.
* Ensure there is a consistent approach to absence management

* To provide Admin support to HR team and line managers, in all HR matters, ensuring accuracy of information completed to records and systems in a manner which reflect the company values

* Advice and support on the first stages of the disciplinary process with Line Managers with support from a more senior HR person on site


What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience within a similar HR role
Experience of assisting managers with employee relations, such as disciplinary and grievance, performance management, absence management and probationary meetings.
Previous experience with HR Systems and general administration duties
Understanding of basic employment law and eligibility regulations
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills

Desirable:Level 3 or 5 CIPD qualified
Experience of Manufacturing Environment
