Your new role

Reporting directly into the HR Manager, you will be responsible for establishing excellent working relationships with relevant senior managers within your assigned business area. The successful post holder will be managing their own portfolio of complex ER casework ranging for disciplinaries and grievances through to misuse of social media, as well as line managing 3 more junior HR Advisers/Officers. This will involves supporting them with their ER casework and ensuring their continuous professional development.

In addition, you will be partnering with managers to support them with performance and absence management, advocating informal approaches to begin with where appropriate. You will also identify trends in your casework and liaise with the Learning and Development Team to provide training where appropriate.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive employee relations case management experience, as well as experience partnering with managers to resolve all HR issues. Previous experience working within the charity or retail sector is beneficial but not essential.
