ArtisHR are currently supporting a leading organisation in central Cardiff with recruitment of a HR Business Partner for a 12-month FTC. This is a truly operational and strategic role reporting directly to the Chief People Officer and paying £40-50,000 + benefits.

The HR Business Partner helps to achieve its strategic and operational goals through its people. The HRBPs build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with their dedicated business areas, implementing and continuously improving people management practices.
The HR Business Partner adds value to the people processes with their deep knowledge of the business and employment law. Their HR expertise is essential to any organisational change, applying the colleague lens to the change portfolio.

*The HR Business Partner works with a Directorate(s) as a member of their team, proactively collaborating with the Exec and their team and all colleagues within to drive the people agenda. Their focus is forward looking, working with the management team to deliver creative, solution focussed and innovative ways of working that allow the business to deliver its strategic goals in a sustainable and consistent manner. Communication is critical for the role holder, as their stakeholders are varied and vast.
*Proactively partner the Senior Leadership team of the Directorate to deliver the strategy and operational goals through their people.
*Lead workstreams and projects in the change portfolio ensuring they deliver the relevant capability uplifts and business benefits. Where the HRBP is a project team member rather than a lead, they will view any activity through the colleague lens, acting and making recommendations where appropriate.
*Provide advice and guidance on complex and/or high risk employee relations issues
*Improve organisational capability by collaborating with the leadership team to drive high performance culture
*Work with the leadership team to ensure that the business recruits and retains brilliant People who display the right behaviours and values consistently through the recruitment and retention of a diverse workforce
*Lead, develop and motivate the Senior HR Advisors


Educated to a degree level and MCIPD qualified or equivalent experience

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE (for example: management experience)

Experience of managing small HR and matrix teams
Generalist experience in a demanding fast paced role
Proven strategic HR background
Working knowledge of employment Law
Demonstrable experience of managing projects, change initiatives and as change champion
Resourcing at all levels, utilising innovative and varied recruitment solutions
Supporting management with employee engagement initiatives
Support organisational design to deliver the required capability
MI analysis and action planning to redress any undesirable trends
Coaching and influencing managers up to Senior Leadership level
