Recruitment / HR Manager

Are you professional, thoughtful and determined? A minimum three to five years’ practice experience and aiming toward a leadership role? Have you at least a Level 5 CIPD qualification, and either already progressing and/or ready to work towards Level 7 with our support. We are interested in ambitious hard working candidates who might have experience in healthcare or transport, MS SharePoint or Sage People. We are also open minded about candidates with diverse commercial experiences and who are ready for an exciting new role.

Our Ideal candidate will be an influencer, can think strategically whilst still firmly hands-on. We aim to make our recruitment and training process a core capability.

A new acquisition by US healthcare Company of a local business in Manchester with 30 operational staff in healthcare/transport sector. is building a new management team. Our Investment program aims to build a socially valuable, competitive business operation in the North West and then the UK.

Initial tasks include reviewing the existing HR policies and procedures of the acquired local business and with your new management colleagues, collectively develop a staff handbook, design, implement new recruitment processes, select and roll out a new self-service HR application whilst maintain support the current staff, contribute and influence the design of on-line candidate profiling, vocational and clinical training, CPD and the company on-boarding programme for the UK.

This opportunity will see the successful candidate join a newly assembled management team and have significant influence in the building of a dynamic and positive culture in a progressive start-up.

The role will be based on the east side of Greater Manchester or home based as required. The successful candidate will regularly determine own working hours. Planned periodic assessment and recruitment events at regional locations will require on site direct management.

Salary 35k, travelling expenses, 28 days’ holiday.

Financial support to qualify to CIPD Level 7
