Human Resources Manager A HR Manager is required for an organisation that has recently gone through a period of change. You will have some line management responsibilities and cover two sites in South Essex.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity where you will be able to implement changes and shape the department.

* Meet regularly with Heads of Department.
* Ensure the client groups are supported in undertaking probation reviews and appraisals on a timely basis.
* Support the HR Partners in the recruitment process when required
* Provide guidance to client groups on initiatives such as restructure and redundancy
* Supporting event preparation
* Preparation of monthly high level reporting
* Attend meetings as necessary or as delegated by the Head of Human Resources
* Train client groups on HR related initiatives, policy or procedure
* Overall responsibility for the management and control of operational safeguarding including DBS
* Proactively manage staff absence
* Monthly sickness absence reporting to the wider senior and middle management teams
* Manage all Human Resources appraisal activity

HR Database and Reporting

* Recruitment activity including expenditure
* Monthly reporting on probationary employees.
* Appraisal activity.
* Employee relations.
* Staff turnover.
* Provide monthly reporting on recruitment expenditure
* Provide monthly headcount reporting
* Maintain and develop Human Resource system, specifically contributing to the development of a subsequent maintenance of hierarchies i.e. reporting lines.
* Produce Human Resources workflow documentation.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful you will have experience at a similar level and have completed the CIPD certificate. Experience within the Education setting is preferred. An awareness of Equality and Diversity in the administration and delivering of training and development.You will have the ability to plan, prioritise tasks and take responsibility to achieve goals. Have enthusiasm for ensuring delivery of training for the target group and allows achievement to full potential. An ability to motivate others to achieve

What you'll get in return
A salary of between £38,000 - £40,000
Pension, Holiday entitlement 35 days
