Artis HR are currently supporting an exciting organisation in Swindon with the recruitment of a Payroll & Systems Advisor - Swindon (FTC - 12 months) - Salary £22,000 - £24,500 + benefits. This can be either full / part time with a minimum of 22.5 hours.

Payroll and Systems Advisor - Swindon (FTC - 12 months)
We will consider part time applications (minimum of 22.2 hours)

About the Payroll and Systems Advisor role:
Joining us as a Payroll and Systems Advisor you will assist in the management of payroll processes and controls as well as processing administrative elements of payroll for the business in order to provide a timely, accurate and efficient pay and reporting provision.
Key responsibilities include:
*Manage the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and weekly payrolls- start to end process aligned to the limits of authorities set within the SAP HR Manual, in order to ensure the delivery of timely, efficient and accurate payrolls
*Provide knowledge and expertise including training, manuals, visual aids for payroll staff and house SAP HR Administrators and colleagues across all divisions, in order to enable consistent and accurate payroll across the Group
*Provide a standard reporting suite including any ad hoc requests in order to fulfil business requirements and demand
*Assist in the management of AE Pensions interfaces, uploads to L&G, contributions, starters/leavers, generating communications and any AE process query, in order to ensure timely, efficient and accurate pension accounts
*Assist with improvement of reporting suites, updating manuals, creating processes

About You:
You'll be able to evidence:
*Previous experience of working in Payroll and/or reporting function (preferably 3+ years)
*Ability to perform manual payroll calculations
*Experience in working within a pressurised environment
*Experience of SAP payroll system and manual calculations
*Good knowledge of UK employment taxes and legislation
*Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data
*Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office packages
*Be a self-motivated, self-starter

Desirable skills:
*Previous experience in pensions and Auto Enrolment
*Experience in organisational change/change of environment
