Interim Assistant HRBP job, working for a government agency based in Canary Wharf, paying up to £20.44/hour.

Working closely with one of the two HR Business Partners to deliver a business focused HR service that meets the needs of the allocated divisions of the wider organisation. Working in partnership with HR team members to ensure that all people related operational issues which are priorities for the allocated divisions are managed effectively; including employee relations cases and overseeing the work of the HR Advisor who deals with initial ER enquiries and straightforward ER cases. You will also contribute to strategic HR projects such as workforce planning, attending divisional Senior Management Team meetings and discussing topical HR issues and contribution to broader business discussions.

Daily duties will include quickly and effectively building strong and credible relationships with managers within the allocated divisions, take the lead on managing complex employee relations cases within the divisions, including providing advice and support on internal appeals and employment tribunal cases. You will work in partnership with managers at a strategic level to constructively challenge and identify opportunities for change and development. You will be forward thinking and identify, pre-empt and prioritise issues and problems leading to structured and appropriate solutions, working with managers and HR colleagues as appropriate.

Candidates looking to apply will need to be qualified to Associate or Chartered CIPD level (or equivalent) and be either immediately available or on a one week notice period. You will have recent experience of working as a senior HR advisor or assistant he business partner level and will be able to demonstrate your track record of leading on complete employee relations cases and advising and coaching managers.
