This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a challenging and diverse role in a highly regarded Higher Education Institution.  Harper Adams University specialises in teaching, research and knowledge transfer in the agricultural, food, land-based and environmental disciplines and is host to over a fifth of the UK’s undergraduate agricultural students. The role of Organisational Development Manager will play a key role in the implementation of the University’s Human Resources Strategy, through the provision of a comprehensive organisational development service.  The post holder will take a lead role in ensuring that a range of organisational development, particularly leadership and management initiatives are in place across the University.  Responsibility will be held for designing and embedding performance management initiatives across the University, working closely with managers at all levels to ensure a high performing organisation.  The post holder will be key in working as a project member on iTrent system development, particularly to design and roll out a learning and development module.  The role will also involve project work, including a review and redesign of the University’s current induction and wellbeing programmes. 

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Organisational Development Manager will need to work effectively with managers and staff of the University.  We are looking for a responsive and committed professional with a proven track record in the delivery of an effective organisational development agenda.
