Currently working with a client in Reading who are searching for a HR Analyst with SAP experience to join them for a 3 to 6 months contract with a possibility of perm. The role will pay up to £300 per day and will be suitable for candidates who have a strong background providing analytics for areas of HR such as Reward and Employee Relations.

The role of HR Analyst will be to provide the business with timely and accurate management information to support effective decision making and ensure alignment of the organisational structure data between Finance and HR. You will facilitate and support business areas with their headcount budget and forecasts, manage the regular and routine changes to the SAP HR system and produce a suite of HR reports.

Duties include;

* Act as a first point of contact for HR reporting requests and provide data in a timely and accurate fashion in line with data governance rules. You will be expected to respond to requests for information and service support in a timely and professional manner upholding the HR brand.
* Work closely with the Finance and HR teams to ensure alignment between systems to aid headcount budgeting and cost centre management.
* Provide analysis of HR data to identify causes, patterns and trends and advise the business on reporting, as required.
* Produce daily and monthly reporting packs to be used across the business including the executive team.
* Identify and implement efficiencies in producing reports.
* Coordinate with relevant teams regarding continuous improvement initiatives and the improvement of data quality and governance.
* Process master data SAP HR updates in line with the governance framework e.g. quotas and entitlements and functional and legislative changes through system upgrades. You will also undertake corrective actions from SAP HR data checks.
* Promote and provide expertise in data integrity to the HR community.
* Work with HR managers and consultants to update and maintain the organisational structure in line with governance rules and organisational design principles.

The successful candidate will be an analytical individual with excellent attention to detail and a positive can do attitude, who is able to work within a pressurised environment. You will have strong commercial awareness and mindset, with the ability to make logical and well thought out decisions as well as a background in the provision of management information and good verbal and written communication skills. Experience of running and building reports in SAP HR and BI, with a solid understanding of SAP HR and BI is highly desirable and excellent IT skills including MS Office applications Excel and PowerPoint are essential. A track record of supporting decision making with objective analysis would be favourable as would a degree or equivalent experience.
