This company is the governing and regulatory body for horse racing in Great Britain. It is their role to act for and on behalf of the whole sport, ensuring that the highest standards apply on and away from the racecourse. Their vision is to build a brighter future for their sport, their horses and their people.

They are currently looking for a Senior HR Adviser to join a fast paced, dynamic and passionate team on a full time and permanent basis. This is an exciting and diverse opportunity for someone to provide effective strategic and operational support to the Head of HR in delivering their people strategy by ensuring the contribution of all employees is maximised and is suited to an individual willing to develop and grow within the company.

The individual will provide direction, support and guidance to managers and their people and ensure the service is proactive, efficient and flexible to respond to the changing needs of the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability of managing HR policy and processes, talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations and recognition. You will be responsible for motivating and supporting the HR Adviser and HR Coordinator on a day to day basis so that they display their best potential and work effectively together as a team.

Ideally the candidate will be CIPD qualified, be able to assist in the delivery of the company's strategic objectives and recommend changes to leaders of the business to positively support organisational and cultural changes.

You will have demonstrated coaching, communication, negotiation and consultative skills at all levels. Candidates will possess strong knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and the ability to oversee and advise on processes and procedures to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the HR department.

The successful candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, a proactive and flexible approach and plenty of initiative. They will need to be an enthusiastic and approachable individual who is able to translate strategy into action.

A proficient user of MS Office packages, particularly Word and Excel would be desirable.

As the needs of the business change this role will change accordingly, therefore this document should be viewed as guidelines which are subject to change. They welcome enquiries from everyone and value diversity in their workforce.
