Hudson are excited to be partnering with this US owned Manufacturing business to recruit their first HR Manager for the UK who will also provide some support to colleagues in France and other European locations. The role will focus on maximising the effectiveness of human resources and is responsible for a full generalist remit.

This is a stand alone role, reporting into the Global CHRO in the US with a functional reporting line to the Site Manager on a daily basis. The business is currently undergoing a exciting period of change and growth and you will guide the team through this, offering support for recruitment and employee relations processes, ensuring people are managed in a respectful and legally compliant way. As a stand-alone HR Manager, you will be responsible for creating, developing and implementing strategy and best practice across the company. Embracing this relationship-centric environment, you will be passionate about furthering the development of the business's strong culture, ensuring that the core values are reflected through its people policies.

Recognising that people are critical to its success and that they can elevate a business over and above the competition, you will need to be highly motivated, commercially focused and an expert at delivering a proactive HR service to the business and board members.

Desired experience

* You will be an experienced HR Generalist with a proven track record, ideally gained within a manufacturing environtment.
* You will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are practiced for the business and are legally compliant.
* You will have an instant impact, be visible within the business and be able to provide pragmatic and practical HR solutions.
* You will be of degree calibre and MCIPD qualified
* Fluency in French would be a distinct advantage, but is not essential
