HR Manager suitable for candidates with strong experience in the Engineering sector. Bristol, up £50k + bonus

Your new role

* You will be expected to work closely and demonstrate credibility with senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, coach and support Managers and employees through employee relations matters and provide advice and support on specific issues
* Your overarching aim is to help dedicated areas to deliver their business plan objectives which may mean implementing resourcing strategies and driving and facilitating improvement programmes.
* You will also be accountable for ensuring international/national HR calendar activities are delivered within time and to quality within the dedicated business areas
* In addition you will act as a HR point of contact for the Bristol site.

What you'll need to succeed

* Strong background in HR Manager or HRBP posts, ideally within in the engineering sector
* Degree qualified or equivalent and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
* Excellent practical knowledge and understanding of Employment Law
* Ability to appreciate complex organisational, business problems
* Strong consultancy problem solving, coaching and facilitation skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Credible with senior leaders and colleagues
* Self-motivated with the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Good understanding of organisation design and development tools and processes
* International and national travel will be required
* Security clearance will be required
* Languages will be useful but not essential
