Your new company
A division a UK production/manufacturing organisation who has growth and development plans are looking to recruit a new role of HR Business Partner for their UK operations UK wide - based at their Divisional Head Office near Sleaford.

Your new role
This NEW role will be to head up the UK operations - reporting to the site Operations Director and then the larger group HR Lead/team - being part of the SMT.
The post holder will be accountability for delivering the HR plan, linking into the Group HR strategy.
You will be responsible for both the strategic and senior operational HR function - multiple sites with complex operational issues, and working with the SMT to advise, plan and action the strategies to make this organisation even more successful.
There are various "people" projects and strategies planned for the next 1-2 years so aswell as day-to-day HR management you will be intrinsic in these projects.
You will also manage a small team of 3 staff within the HR and Training function
This is a role for someone who wants to "take the lead", challenge and make effective changes.

NB This role does involve occasional travel to other sites, when necessary - but mainly based at site. You will also be travelling to the Head Office via plane for 1 to 2 days a month to work with the Group HR Team/Lead.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal applicant will be currently operating at a HR Manager, Business Partner or Senior Advisor level - involved in all areas of operational HR management, SMT liaison/advise - and strategic work - aswell as managing a team/staff/HR function.
Proven track record of improving operational efficiencies through managing cost & people development.
Ideally from the manufacturing or related industries (such as transport, engineering etc - fast paced/ unionised/ multi site.
Ideally CIPD qualified - minimum Level 5

What you'll get in return
The salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualification - circa £40000 to £50000 plus management level benefits package.
Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 4.30pm and an early finish on Fridays - although some flexibility is required for travel to Head Office, other sites and the senior nature of the role.
