Regional HR Business Partner - North West - c£45k plus car - Permanent

This business is a national brand, with multiple divisions and and business units. Due to some internal moves, they now have a newly created position for a HR Business Partner to join them, taking responsibility for sites within the North West of England. Typically these sites are concentrated in Manchester, Merseyside and North Wales, A well established business, they are currently going through a transformation programme which will ensure future growth and sustainability.

The role itself will support a number of sites, and will partner with the regional leadership team. This is an exceptionally generalist position, expected to include many of the below elements;

- Management of complex stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally
- Take the lead on union relationships across the region,with involvement in pay negotiations
- Involvement in complex ER casework, and providing remote support for day to day issues where required
- Supporting business wide initiatives at a local level, including taking the lead on engagement, and continuing to build on what is already an inclusive and performance driven culture
- Involvement in talent management at a local level, including the roll out of a competency framework, with the opportunity to provide input to the agenda moving forward

The ideal candidate for this role must demonstrate a generalist background, and will have had significant union involvement, including negotiations at a local level. You must be confident dealing with a wide variety of senior stakeholders, and know when to challenge and push back in the appropriate way.

You must be comfortable with travel as part of a role around the North West region (overnight stays are not anticipated to be necessary due to the concentration of sites).
