Project Manager / Lead - Nationwide - c£38000 + car (or allowance)

This is a lead role within a key business project. Our nationally spread FTSE 250 business has invested in and developed a new tablet based EPOS system and are now looking for a Project Manager to deliver the rollout phase of the project across the business.

Initially a 6-9 month contract you will be the Project Manager responsible for pulling together IT developers and site / area managers, agreeing the project plans and driving the implementation. Delivering this project well could see you persuading the client that there is a long-term role within the organisation for you as a Project Manager.

The role will involve

* Understanding the culture of the organisation, its passion for customer service and how the new system will compliment and improve the service they offer their customers.
* Developing and agreeing End User training.
* Agreeing key project milestones with all key parties (IT, site managers, logistics and property managers) and scheduling all individual site roll-outs.
* Managing individual site projects ensuring training is delivered effectively and staff have bought in to the new system.
* Constantly reviewing performance and dealing with issues to ensure that the new system is embedded and working.

To be considered you MUST have

* Experience of working on similar System implementation projects.
* The ability to work with loyal staff who might be sceptical of the merits of a new way of working. You will need empathy, patience and tenacity.
* The confidence to own the project and pre-empt the pitfalls.

This is a nationwide role. You can be based anywhere but must be prepared to stay away from home for some site roll-outs.

To apply then please follow the link below to send your CV and cover letter (Please quote ref BBBH11 in any correspondence).
