My client are a leading global strategy consulting firm based in the city of London.



- Constantly monitor available capacity vs demand and flag issues early to WTM (Weekly Trading Meeting) group for decision making

- Lead capacity deployment and tracking activities which optimise commercial efficiency of the business

- Work closely with Staffing Officer to facilitate inter-office staffing with the international office network

- Be the voice of the staffing team at the Weekly Trading Meeting (WTM) flagging capacity, project issues, TOIL, overstretched senior team members etc.

- Identify capacity constraints and work to recommend solutions

- Monitor and ensure communication in terms of authorisation/requests for project overruns/investments

- Drive best practice across capacity planning activities and staff utilisation

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that current and accurate information is used for planning purposes

- Liaise with Partners to understand existing and future project/capacity demands

- Proactively reach out to chase for confirmation of prioritised projects

- Take into account the different needs of multiple stakeholders to balance the needs of individuals and those of the wider business

- Anticipate and recognise when conflict may occur and work proactively resolve these and escalate if required


- Lead talent committee sessions alongside peer group champions for ACs and Cs

- Develop tools and processes to enhance the appraisal process

AC/C Professional Development

- Maintain rapport and be the career advocate for ACs and Cs and ensure staffing provides development opportunities

- Organise and run fortnightly staffing open hours sessions for ACs and Cs

- Monitor individual interest in Secondments and Ambassadorships and support Head of Talent Acquisition with arrangements

Other Responsibilities

- Facilitating staffing and appraisals induction to new hires

- Building and maintaining relationships across the UK and wider Partnership

- Act as a consultant to the business on interventions or areas of focus re: staffing, appraisals and talent development

- Contribute to strategic HR projects particularly when it is to do with on-boarding, retention, employee experience, etc.


- Able to plan and deliver against deadlines

- High tolerance for ambiguity and changing priorities and the ability to plan for contingencies

- Highly skilled communicator with the ability to communicate complex situations/concepts to others

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability for form and maintain strong relationships and engage with a wide range of stakeholders

- Ability to negotiate, influence and challenge effectively to build relationships at senior level

- Proven management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and development

- Highly developed problem solving skills

- High attention to detail and a passion for accuracy

- Good commercial and financial awareness with understanding of the impact of failure

- Highly developed numeracy and reporting skills with the ability to analyse information and trends

- Confident and rounded thinker with a collaborative approach
