Hudson are exciting to be working exclusively with this Buckinghamshire based client to recruit a new Head of HR. Operating as an integral part of the Senior Management Team you will lead a team of 6 to deliver the HR people strategy in line with the business's values and principles. This is a national role and will require travel on a regular basis.

Your team will provide full, professional, efficient and effective support to all managers and staff. You will also develop processes and metrics that support the achievement of the business plans.

- Develop and support the delivery of the HR strategy in line with business objectives.

- Support leadership team with change mangement and OD activities.

- Develop business wide HR policies and procedures and providing full support to line managers during implemenation phases.

- Drive and deliver HR initiatives to support business needs.

- Work in partnership with the operational management team to identify opportunities and areas of improvement to support improved organisational and people performance in line with business needs.

- Develop and esure the implementation of a consistent and robust performance management system.

- Plan and direct employee learning and development with the L&D Manager.

- Lead on and improve employee communication and engagement.

The ideal candidate profile will include:

* Degree educated
* CIPD qualification
* Demonstrable experience of working in an HR Management role
* Previous experience working in a logistics, manufacturing or similar
* Motivating and leading teams
* Experience of working with Senior Leaders to deliver change and organisational objectives
* Ability to deal with complex issues
* Ability to negotiate and influence at all levels
* Sound, up to date knowledge of employment legislation
* Able to prioritise and respond flexibly to changing demands and deal with changing priorities on a daily basis
