Learning & Development Manager - High-Profile Media Company, Central London
An exceptional opportunity to work in the UK division of a leading global media company as a Learning & Development Manager. Initial 6 month contract which may well be extended permanently.
You will be part of a small, highly-regarded HR team, with sole responsibility for L&D. The role will entail analysing training requirements and designing, facilitating and delivering training and coaching sessions to staff across the business.
You will have a true passion for the learning and development of others whilst having a personal interest in how people work and keeping up to date with current theories of human behaviour and learning. You will also need excellent hands-on administrative skills and be familiar with using an LMS to administer and communicate training opportunities across the organisation.
As well as developing an annual training plan, you will be
- liaising with and managing relationships with external training providers
- driving and leading mentoring and coaching programmes
- designing and delivering e-learning modules
- working with the senior management team on leadership development programmes
- managing training related projects and providing L&D advice.
You will need to have outstanding presentation skills and be able to engage with senior stakeholders effectively. You'll be confident, upbeat, memorable and outgoing with a proactive, positive and optimistic approach and a strong customer-service ethic.
Previous L&D experience at a senior level, within media or a fast-paced, evolving, commercial organisation is essential
