Our client is a global market leader in the gaming space, successfully trading through multiple brands within their portfolio to reach their customers via unique technology platforms and an iconic retail estate (c.28,000 FTE).  Firmly placed in the FTSE 100, we're looking for a Group Reward Director to join the HRLT, to define and deliver the Group wide global reward and recognition strategy.

As the current incumbent prepares to conclude their time with the Group this Autumn, we are eagerly exploring the market to identify their replacement.  The successful candidate will most certainly be a seasoned Global Reward Director with a proven track record of leading a significant international reward function within a large-scale, regulated, multi-site business – ideally a FTSE listed organisation. 

With a strong track record of organic growth and M&A activity - and a recent significant acquisition, you'll lead the creation of the newly combined global reward strategy aligned to the culture of the organisation to drive optimum performance.  This role offers great breadth with accountability for the provision of overall policy, product ownership and advisory guidance on all reward matters including; fixed comp, incentives (including share plans), benefits, pension, international mobility, employment tax, and banding and performance management.  As subject matter expert for all matters compensation, you'll monitor corporate governance regulations and best practice, and set the highest standards for CSR, Compliance, Regulatory and Legal Requirements, whilst also acting as a Trustee or Management lead for pensions, and other schemes.

This is a trusted advisory role to the Group, ExCo and Remco that will see you write the directors' remuneration reporting in the Annual Report and Accounts, brief the Chairman and Remco Chair on anticipated AGM questions, and support the external and media messaging and communications.  Championing relationships cross functionally within this organisational matrix with specialist functions such as; treasury, tax, finance, corporate affairs, investor relations and company secretarial, will ensure a collaborative approach to embedding appropriate policies that consider both tax and regulatory efficient arrangements.

Early projects will include; design and implementation of a new group wide grading system and salary benchmarking practice and process, championing any reward integration activities and where appropriate, supporting broader due diligence and organisational development activities across your senior HR colleague group.  Devising and implement strategies that support the integration and future talent acquisition and retention activities will be critical during this time of transformation. 

Providing inspirational leadership to the Reward team will be critical; supporting their development and ensuring that all operational activities - BAU and project work - are delivered efficiently and effectively. 

If you can demonstrate a successful track record of performing a similar role in a long term or permanent capacity; offering expertise in all aspects of reward and remuneration relevant to a high growth, large scale, global organisation (ideally listed), with seasoned RemCo expertise, and the drive and tenacity to deliver both strategic and operational priorities at an intense pace, we would like to open a conversation.
