Post title: Associate Director of Learning and Development

We want every member of staff to be able to work to their full potential, to better meet the needs of the Trust and deliver excellent patient care.

Our training portfolio covers stat man training, Induction, skills based training and higher level apprenticeships. We are looking for someone to bring fresh thinking, new ideas and innovation to the current training offering and to drive our learning and development strategy, building the right capability to support the business.

The role has three discreet areas of responsibility which include:

  • Short courses - CPD and skills-based courses
  • Statutory and Mandatory Training – compliance
  • Facilities - managing the education centre facilities across the sites

The Learning and Development function covers all non- clinical training and development, spans all five sites across the Trust and consists of 30 members of staff.  

As Associate Director you will report into the Managing Director of the Education Academy and play a key role within the senior leadership team.

To succeed you will need extensive expertise in learning and development and a track record of delivering excellence in a high change environment, gained within a large complex organisation.

You will be qualified at post graduate level or equivalent and ideally be a member of the CIPD.
