Assistant Employee Relations Adviser

Your new company
Our client is looking to recruit an Assistant Employee Relations Adviser to work with the ER team to implement HR strategy.

Your new role
You will act at the first point of contact for Line Managers and Investigating Managers on ER issues. You will be responsible for the proactive management of sickness absence; all informal and first formal stages of sickness capability; all cases of unsatisfactory probation; informal and first formal performance capability cases; assisting the ER Advisors with the management of grievance and discipline cases. You will ensure the fair and consistent implementation of relevant policies and procedures across the organisation, promoting a positive employee relations culture.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be have a Level 5 CIPD Diploma in HRM or equivalent along with experience of working in Human Resources, including an advisory capacity. A good understanding of ER policies, equality and diversity.
