HR Business Partner - 12 Month FTC

Your new company

My client are an award winning service sector business who have experience strong growth over the last 3 years. They now have a requirement for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team, initially on a 12 month FTC based out of their Crewe Head Office.

Your new role

As HR Business Partner, you will work with the HR and Training Manager and other members of the HR and L&D team to provide a professional HR service to managers and staff. You will promote best practice, support the development of employees in line with business objectives, adhere to employment legislation and promote the values and culture of the business.

You will provide advice and guidance to managers and team leaders on employee relations matters including grievances and disciplinaries, and flexible working requests whilst supporting Managers and Team Leaders with sickness case management, including attending three strike meetings and organising occupational health appointments.

As HR Business Partner you will build effective working relationships with the Managers and Team Leaders through collaboration and gaining credibility, to influence, coach, support and develop them in their approach and consideration of employee relations issues, ensuring they understand the impact of these on the individual and business whilst supporting with wellbeing and engagement projects including research and preparation of strategic papers.

Supporting managers in the recruitment and selection of non-managerial staff including Development Officers in order to ensure adherence to our recruitment policy and best practice including undertaking of psychometric analysis for the purpose of recruitment and selection and coaching/ personal development will be a key focus for the role.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a strong generalist skill set with employee relations expertise and strong I,T systems experience. My client are Implementing a new HR I.T system later in the year so previous experience embedding a new system would be a distinct advantage.

You will be CIPD level 5 or 7 qualified and possess excellent stakeholder influencing experience.
The role will initially be on a 12 month FTC with a permanent position likely to be available, dependant on new business wins.

What you'll get in return

The role attracts a salary of c£30,000-£35,000 plus an enhanced pension, flexi-time, bonus and a very generous benefits package.
