Training / Learning & Development Officer - International Bank - 6 Month FTC- City of London

Your new company
Our client is an international bank are on the search for an experienced training /learning & development officer to join their HR team in this 6 month FTC role.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be required to shape and develop competence in the Bank by implementing the delivery of training and development plan under the training strategy devised by the Head of HR.

You will work closely as an interface with compliance to design and implement training packages for new and ongoing financial services regulatory training. Assess training needs across the business and complete an annual training needs analysis across all lines of business to advise on the management/leadership training; technical training; personal development and regulatory (eg Financial Crime) training required. Design and expand training and development programmes based on the needs of the organisation and the individual - tailor training packages to be more bank specific.

Operate a blended learning approach by developing and championing methods for learning. Consider multiple channels of delivering training sessions (Online, Lunch and learn, external courses but also more informal learning opportunities etc. Implement the Online Learning programme on Unicorn - have an understanding of e-learning techniques, be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages on Unicorn. Ensure that statutory and mandatory training requirements are met - track adherence to regulatory training schedules & ensure completion.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience in Training, Learning & Development, and Talent within an international banking or financial services firm. You will have good knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and have expertise in upskilling and training the business Experience in creating / delivering training plans, evaluate training programmes and assess ROI.
