Hudson are excited to be partnering exclusively with group of Independent Schools on the edge of North London to recruit this brand new role of HR Manager. They are based in a beautiful area of London which is easily accessed by car from the A1, main line trains from Herts / Beds and is also on the Northern Line. This is a great opportunity for a commercially astute HR Manager to shape the HR Strategy and manage operational priorities.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, the HR Manager will lead a small team to deliver a first class HR service. Embracing this relationship-centric environment, you will be passionate about furthering the development of the organisation's strong culture, ensuring that the core values are reflected through its people policies.

Recognising that people are critical to its success and that they can elevate a business over and above the competition, you will need to be highly motivated, commercially focused and an expert at delivering a proactive HR service to the business and board members.

Desired experience

* You will be an experienced HR Generalist with a proven track record, ideally gained within a fast paced commercial environment.
* You will ensure that all HR policies and procedures are practiced for the business and are legally compliant.
* You will have an instant impact, be visible within the business and be able to provide pragmatic and practical HR solutions.
* You will be of degree calibre and MCIPD or FCIPD qualified
