Learning & Development Officer (L&D)


£30,000 per annum

Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

Our client is an independent housing association providing excellent housing management services to over 5,200 tenants and 260 leaseholders in Gloucester.

They are looking for a qualified and highly experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Officer to join their Human Resources (HR) team in delivering a comprehensive training and development programme. Your role will be to ensure that all staff have the right skills and knowledge to undertake their role effectively. You will work closely with the Head of HR to develop and implement the L&D strategy, creating and delivering a range of training courses and work placement programmes that meet the needs of all staff. You will need to demonstrate experience of planning, designing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions.

To be successful in this role you will be CIPD qualified or hold an equivalent Training and Development qualification and as such will be able to demonstrate experience in a broad spectrum of L & D activity such as planning, designing, delivering and evaluating learning solutions throughout all levels of an organisation, from traineeships through to senior leadership development. You will be a team player, with excellent communication skills and customer focus, who will enjoy working in the community.
