Ref: IR6931

Our client has a vision to be the world's most dynamic company in their sector. With almost 3000 industry specialists operating across 24 global markets, an ambitious board with a clear five year strategy and purpose driven brand, they are well positioned for growth and are already overachieving their targets.

Critical to the delivery of these ambitious growth plans is exceptional talent and the early careers strategy forms a vital part of this agenda.

The Early Careers Manager will be a true expert in their field and will lead the recruitment and development programmes that allow the organisation to build its talent pool at entry level through attracting and developing placement students, apprentices and graduates to fully realise their potential.

Reporting to the Head of Talent, the Early Careers Manager will take responsibility for the full lifecycle from programme design through to development. They will work with the business to set the strategy and forecast demand, develop and deliver the brand, plan, manage and execute the recruitment drive, support onboarding, manage the allocation and rotation process, and evolve and monitor the development programme.

Whilst the programmes are running well there is still real scope for someone to build on their existing model, think creatively and implement their own ideas.

The role would suit an experienced Early Careers with a solid experience of running end to end early careers programmes encompassing both apprentices and graduates. You will be equally adept in attraction and development and will have a good understanding of different learning methods and career development interventions. You should have a sound appreciation of the Apprentice Levy framework and the mechanisms that support it in addition to strong systems skills and a good working knowledge of MS applications.

Whilst technical ability is vital, key to the success of the role will be approach and style. The organisation is highly dynamic and in growth mode and the Early Careers Manager must be organised and proactive - able to work at pace to successfully balance numerous day to day demands with longer term planning requirements which require a calm, disciplined approach. You should be able to communicate confidently with a huge variety of stakeholders including applicants, Directors and academic institutions, using a range of methods and media.

If you are an ambitious, experienced Early Careers expert who is passionate about your field and looking to join a successful, people centric business where you have real scope to own the full end to end cycle whilst adding your own vision, please click Apply Now and submit your CV and covering letter to our recruitment partners Isobel Rose and Paul Tanton at Consult HR
