Our client, an established service provider operating in an extremely competitive business sector is looking to appoint an HR Assistant to their busy team.  Based in Ipswich and reporting to the HR Manager, this role will be responsible for:

  • Providing advice & support on HR procedures
  • HR Administration including starters/leavers procedures, filing
  • Recruitment coordination
  • Maintenance of the HR system including attendance and holiday records
  • Monthly reporting
  • Coordination of payroll and benefits programmes
  • Absence monitoring
  • Training coordination

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience gained in a fast-paced HR environment, be able to communicate effectively and possess good organisational skills. You will need to be able to work in a high energy environment and have a confident and robust nature. While payroll experience is not essential, strong IT/systems and numeracy skills are required.
