Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Workforce Planning Manager who has a proven track record working in a complex, fast paced environment to join a great business in Berkshire who are currently undergoing a period of rapid and exciting change - paying up to £64,000 + excellent package. The role of Future Capability Manager will be responsible for defining the company's long term capability strategy to enable workforce resilience.

Duties will include;

* Recommend approach to workforce architecture and lead team to implement.

* Functions (Job Families), Practices, Role Profiles & Grades
* Alignment of Competencies - Technical / Functional, Behavioural and Business Knowledge
* Competency assessment tooling and approach
* Aligned career pathways and development interventions

* Implement a process for strategic workforce planning that enables identification of the key capabilities required to deliver the business strategy and recommend 2-7 year integrated resource and capability plan

* Gather and analyse external and internal capability insight
* Inputs: Business Strategy, HRBPs, External Market, Future Trends
* Outputs: Demand Profile, Skills Gap Analysis, Sourcing Solutions, Training requirements.
* Forecast future needs and conduct gap analysis
* Develop recommendations / strategies (Technical skills and management / leadership capabilities, Early careers pathways, Grow your own - work ready programmes, academies, Internal succession & targeted development)

* Partner with Reward to ensure that changes to T&Cs, benefits and other policies are in alignment with achieving our capability strategy.
* Partner with Talent to ensure that the approach for talent pipe lining (including succession planning, talent profiling, high potential management and targeted development interventions) are in alignment with our capability strategy.

* Partner with L&D to ensure that the training offering is fit for purpose to enable realisation of our capability strategy. Including early careers strategy (graduate & apprenticeships), career path frameworks, induction, leadership & management development, professional development, knowledge management and operational competence.

* Maintain content of policies, processes and systems that sit within your specialist area. Provide support to HR Direct as needed to resolve employee queries.
* The successful candidate should be credible and engaging with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will possess significant experience in strategic workforce planning in a large complex business and the analytical capability to derive insight from data.
