Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche charitable organisation based near Burford to recruit an experienced Senior HRBP / Head of HR for 12 months.

Reporting to the HRD and managing / leading a team of 6, the main purpose of job is to implement and develop the HR strategy and solutions, working with the Executive Team leading on the HR strategy and activity in support of the People & Development business plan. You will further develop and deliver the existing HR business partnership approach, to provide solutions to all people across the organisation in order to provide the best possible outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

* Lead, enthuse and direct the HR team to achieve agreed objectives within available resources, ensuring compliance with the Organisation's policies, procedures and statutory obligations
* Help transform the culture to ensure they are an employer of choice and strategically support the people needs

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain people plans to meet current and future business needs with regard to changing service demands and working practices in the sector and beyond
* Lead on the collective consultation regarding the proposals to change employee benefits
* Ensure that an equal pay audit is conducted successfully across the whole organisation
* Develop, drive and promote equality and diversity policies and practices
* Drive and embed the performance management process and culture
* Promote and develop the devolvement of responsibility for teams to line management, providing associated support
* Provide HR metrics and insights, that can be used to make data driven decisions at strategic and operational levels
* Ensure the HR function remains aware of developments in the field of human resource management, relevant job markets and legislation
* Ensure recruitment, selection and release processes meet agreed standards and support people and business plans, in turn supporting Directors to optimise the skill mix and deployment of people within the organisation
* Take responsibility for the whole employee lifecycle, working at both a strategic and an operational level to ensure exceptional HR service delivery

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Accomplished leader
* Educated to degree level / MCIPD professional qualification or demonstrable equivalent work experience
* Experience operating at a senior strategic leadership level
* Extensive experience of collective consultations
* Experience of compensation and pay; evaluating job roles, responsible for the payroll function, introduction of new initiatives to attract and retain employees
* Experience of budget planning and financial decision making
* Previous experience of senior leadership and / or reporting at Board level
