Our client is delighted to be recruiting a People & Organisational Development Officer to undertake some key projects within their People & Organisational Development Directorate. This will be a fixed term contract until March 2019, based at their Headquarters site in Aylesbury, Bucks.

People & Organisational Development Officer
Location: Aylesbury
Fixed Term Contract until March 2019
Full time - 37 hours
£27,521 to £28,017 per annum (pay award pending)

The People & Organisational Development Officer will provide a key role in the delivery of Directorate projects and the delivery of an effective resourcing strategy within the Service. Reporting to the HR Services and Development Manager, you will have a wide ranging brief spanning the Directorate, although key priorities will be to:

  • Assist with the development of procedures, guidance notes and information for all processes across the employment lifecycle and improving organisational attractiveness
  • Contribute to projects designed at reviewing and improving the end to end resourcing processes
  • Coordinate resourcing activities to ensure structured programmes are in place to fulfil business need
  • Contribute to the Gender Pay Gap project and the actions to be taken to address and close the gap in the future

Desired experience and requirement

  • You will be CIPD level 5 qualified or equivalent
  • You will have experience of working within a resourcing role and have knowledge and understanding of resourcing strategies
  • You will have excellent written and communication skills
  • You will have experience of analysing information in order to make resourcing decisions and recommendations
  • You will have the confidence to network and build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
