Executive Director of Workforce and OD

Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s leading specialist cancer centres. We have hugely ambitious plans embarking on £162 million investment in facilities including a new cancer hospital in the heart of Liverpool due to open in 2020.  Based on the same thriving research and healthcare campus as the University of Liverpool and Royal Liverpool University Hospital, the new hospital will ensure every patient receives truly outstanding care and can access the most advanced treatments and clinical trials for generations to come.

Pivotal to the success of the implementation of the Trust’s Workforce Strategy is the appointment of an Executive Director of Workforce and Organisational Development.  Providing expert leadership, vision and direction to the Executive Team this role will support and drive forward transformational change.

In order to help the Trust achieve our strategic priorities you will need to demonstrate considerable HR leadership experience within a complex environment alongside an organisational development background.  It is essential that you have a strong record of delivering innovative workforce solutions with the ability to inspire and influence key stakeholders, utilising successful partnerships across organisations to deliver effective outcomes.

This role is accountable for the development and delivery of the Workforce and OD elements of CQC and other regulatory assessments so it will be essential that you have experience of working at a Senior Level to support the governance and management of risk across an organisation.

This is a truly exciting time to join our Trust, and will provide the opportunity to make a real difference and ensure the delivery of safe and excellent patient care.

The closing date for applications is 9.00am on Monday 13th August 2018.
