Waddington Brown is working in partnership with this established, independent and highly successful organisation based in Harwich to recruit an experienced HR Advisor on a 6-month interim basis. Reporting to the Head of HR, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing HR generalist advice & support
  • Providing support to managers on employee relations issues including disciplinaries, performance management and absence
  • Contributing to formal consultation exercises as part of organisational change initiatives
  • Coaching & training managers on HR policy, procedures and employment law as required
  • Assisting the Head of HR in maintaining and reviewing policies & procedures
  • Providing support with recruitment

The successful candidate will have proven generalist HR experience and ideally be CIPD Level 5 or 7 (or equivalent) accredited.  You will have up to date knowledge of HR best practice, have strengths in employment law and preferably have experience of working in a unionised environment. Experience of managing a varied ER caseload is essential and an understanding of GDPR compliance would be desirable.  For more information, please contact Stephanie Harris at Waddington Brown.
