Henlee Resourcing is working in partnership with this niche International Advisory Business with its global consulting operation based in central Bristol, to recruit a talented, externally focused Senior HR Consultant / HR Manager on a permanent basis.

You will manage a small team of External HR Consultants and, with your team, be responsible for the delivery of International HR (Employment Law, Immigration, Compensation & Benefits, Stock Options, HR best practice) advice and solutions to a portfolio of clients based in the UK, Europe, U.S, South East Asia and India.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

* Line manage a small consulting team ensuring client services are provided within agreed terms and to internal processes.
* Manage your own portfolio of clients, ensuring the provision of timely and accurate advice to clients on HR and employment law issues.
* Liaise with the client / CSD / CSM to gain a clear understanding of client requirements and the terms for services to be provided.
* Ensure appropriate advice and assistance is sought by relevant affiliates in receiving countries and that those services are managed to maximum effect.
* Manage the knowledge database and library of references.
* Review the circumstances of each client to identify potential business development opportunities.
* Ensure targets are met for billable hours, revenue & profitability.
* Ensure the HR Consulting Team are committed and motivated
* Work with the Head of HR to develop services and processes, managing any ad-hoc projects to this end.
* Assess resourcing needs for current and future requirements to maximise long-term revenue and profits.

Applicants will ideally possess 5+ years line management experience and experience of providing Client Advisory / External Consultancy Services in and / or with an International Operation.

You will be familiar with start-up situations across an international spectrum, advising Clients on International Employment Law and HR related issues. You will possess demonstrable leadership qualities with experience of managing diverse geographical teams, showing high emotional intelligence and will be used to working in a fair and consistent manner showing respect, confidence and accepting accountability, combined with excellent communication skills (a foreign language a plus but not essential) and the ability to think strategically, commercially and understanding the bigger picture.
