The Resourcing and Talent Manager role reports into the Head of Talent. In this position you will lead and develop a customer focused recruitment service that enriches the candidates experience. You will proactively plan and devise strategy that allows the university to meet its future needs through talent pipelines. You will focus on finding appropriate solutions to source for positions that require a very specific skillset. It’s expected for you to immerse yourself in faculty life and working directly with academic staff to understand their challenges and resourcing requirements. You will lead on their resourcing service, ensuring the faculties enjoy a customer-focussed experience while candidates leave the process feeling enthused about the University.
You will have an excellent understanding of recruitment and selection processes and techniques and able to offer guidance in how to improve the service. You will manage recruitment campaigns for the university in an ever challenging environment. You will possess excellent communication skills with an ability to explain and advise stakeholders on a wide range of recruitment issues and how this feeds into a talent pipeline. Above all, you will be a highly organised people person who thrives in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
