Chief Officer – Organisational Development
We’re proud of our past.
But you’ll ignite our future.
Aberdeen is full of stunning views. So it’s easy to see the beauty of working

transforming at pace. With big ideas and plenty of ambition, we move as one team to ensure our communities truly thrive. Now, this is your chance to join an exciting, visionary council as our Chief Officer – Organisational
Development, working with the corporate management team to help transition us to the new Target Operating Model.
In this role, you’ll take the strategic lead for all aspects of organisational and
people development including planning the workforce of the future, identifying and developing talent, developing leadership capability at all levels and cultural alignment.
An experienced senior manager, you’ll come with a track record of developing and delivering people and OD strategies to drive forward people and organisational performance and strong evidence of negotiating and
influencing people. As a curious and conscientious leader, you’ll also have
significant experience of leading and managing major corporate
transformation and change programmes in a large and complex organisation.
