In Dorset their community service (Reach) is delivered in partnership with Avon & Wiltshire Partnership Trust (AWP) providing the clinical element and Essential Drug & Alcohol Services (EDAS) who lead the Young People’s offer. Their Devon community service Together Drug & Alcohol is provided by a partnership of this charity, Devon Doctors and Devon Partnership NHS Trust, supported by the Devon Together Alliance. They are looking for a first class administrator to join their friendly team central Exeter based team in this newly created role.
Based on successfully bidding and securing contracts over the last 12 months, their staff base has grown considerably to around 240. So, here in HR, they are evolving their team to match the scale and ambition of their new organisation. They are creating a team fit for this larger organisation that is based on great customer service and quality advice whilst recognising that as a charity, their people are their number one asset. The role of HR Administrator is absolutely central to achieving these aims.
As HR Administrator you will provide a quality and responsive HR administration service to colleagues across their organisation based in Devon and Dorset. You will lead the process of liaising with their outsourced payroll bureau ensuring that staff are paid correctly: The role would suit someone with previous experience of this within a HR team, someone with attention to detail, able to work to clear timescales who has superior administration skills.
Because they are a small team you will have the opportunity to be involved and learn the full range of HR generalist activities, supported by HR colleagues who are equally dedicated to good customer service. Specifically responsibilities of the role also include, the administration of staff benefit and collating statistical reports on HR matrices. There will also be opportunity as you grow into the role to be involved in Recruitment, L&D and Employee Relations.
