What will you be doing?
The team is focused on supporting Centrica to identify and develop colleagues to meet future capability requirements. We support our senior leaders to build the skills and behaviours our workforce will need to meet the future demands of the business and provide advice on how they close capability gaps through the recruitment and development of talent.
To deliver this service, we focus our efforts on a suite of talent management tools and processes including; Organisational Capability Reviews, high potential identification and development, succession planning, Executive Leadership development, Career Development and Emerging Talent.
In this role, your key stakeholders will include the Senior Executive Group (Centrica's top 40 leaders), Centrica Executive Committee (CEC) and HR Partners and you will work directly with the wider Talent, Resourcing and Learning team to deliver key talent initiatives.
The role will help in defining talent and capability requirements, support the design and implementation of appropriate talent interventions and manage the annual talent identification and review cycle. This will include Talent Brokering, Succession Planning, identification of high-potential employees, assessment of flight risks and the completion of employee Talent Cards to drive improved insight into the capability of our workforce.
To be brilliant at this role you will have/be:
We are looking for individuals who are experienced in providing talent management advice and solutions to senior leaders. Experience or qualifications in Organisational behaviours/psychology; human capital analytics and/or business partnering/consulting would be of particular interest to us.
You will need to be experienced in researching, developing and implementing progressive talent models and interventions and be analytical with experience in using data to drive insight and decision making.
This role will be aligned to a business or functional area and offers exposure to the most senior individuals within our organisation so the ability to build and develop trusted relationships is vitally important to the success of this role. Centrica is a large complex organisation so you must be comfortable with ambiguity and ideally have experienced working in a matrix environment.
