A privately owned manufacturing business in Leeds, they have experienced financially challenges and a change in leadership but the quality of the product and the employees has remained consistent. With a new CEO in situ there is a real opportunity to be a real change agent and affect the future success of the business to deliver to it's full potential.

It will be challenging and it will require strong influencing skills but the leadership team is determined to make a difference and the Head of HR will be key in translating that message across the shop floor. Based in Leeds they are accessible by car rather than public transport.


The Head of HR will be leading a small team of HR operators to support performance improvement, leadership development, employee engagement, continuous improvement, upskilling and cross skilling as well as driving transformation change across process and behaviours. It is a great opportunity for a Head of HR with a passion for operational HR and ability for strategic leadership.


Ideally as well as being a strong operator and inspiration HR leader, you will have a robust approach to industrial relations and a good influencer. The CEO is ideally looking for candidates with a recent manufacturing background and a strong understanding of what it takes to be a world class site.

Job Offer

The salary is open depending on experience but bench marked between £60-75K plus package
