Your new role
The main purpose of this role is to assist the Senior HR Officer in a wide range of duties. You will be required to handle the HR Administration which will include dealing with contracts, offers, starters, leavers and more.
You will also get involved in the recruitment process.
This role is an excellent development opportunity. As there will be just the 2 of you within the HR team, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of tasks including getting involved/taking minutes in ER meetings and assisting with the Advisory side of HR.
You will also have the opportunity to assist in implementing a new HR system within the business.
There will also be an option to get involved with other ad-hoc HR work and well as be expected to assist the handle day to day HR duties as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

* You will need to have previous experience working in a HR administration/assistant role.
* You should have a knowledge of the whole HR process and be comfortable in managing your own work load.
* This role requires a high level of autonomy and so the successful candidate must be able to take initiative and be able to work independently without being micro-managed.
* Knowledge of using/working with HR systems previously would be advantageous, as would having lower level advisory experience.

This role is offered on a 6 month contract initially however it is very highly likely that the contract will be extended. The role is paying a generous salary of up to £22,000 per annum.
