Want to work in a varied role that ranges across the strategic and operational in which you will build meaningful relationships with high calibre people in an environment that values authenticity and ideas?

You will join a global, retail brand as the HR Manager for the UK. Partnering a high calibre, corporate, population you will be get the opportunity to work in a role that offers variety and a mix of strategic project work whilst supporting your stakeholders to with their day to day people operations. Although this is a 12 month contract, there's a lot going on so it could lead to a longer term opportunity.

Reporting to the Head of HR, working as part of a fantastic HR team. You'll enjoy the variety and be given the opportunity to flex your intellectual muscles across: ER, talent, recruitment, L&D, reward, and coaching. This is an exciting time of change, with interesting HR projects on the horizon, you'll have the opportunity to use your ability to engage and influence to bring others with you on the journey. The company has a true social conscience and part of your population includes the company's charitable foundation, so along with supporting the commercial objectives, you will be in a position to make a real difference here too.

With a legacy built up over more than a century of trading , the family values upon which the company was founded remain today and it is fundamentally understood that it is the passion of the can individuals that drive the company performance, so the role of HR Manager is a key position. The role covers a population of c.200, providing expert HR support across the Head Office stakeholder group and is heavily involved in developing, shaping and embedding projects and initiatives to ensure the future people capabilities of this organisation with a 120 year heritage.

The role requires someone that has experience of working in a generalist HR Manager/Business Partner position in a corporate, fast paced, environment. Exposure to a retail, hospitality or similar customer focussed, multisite environment is advantageous. More importantly, you will be able to demonstrate how you have partnered a sophisticated stakeholder group to drive the HR agenda and made real business improvements.
