HR Business Partner

Fantastic opportunity for a confident HR Business Partner based in Essex.

I am keen to speak with HR Business Partners who are looking for a busy and fast paced role based in the heart of Essex. Working for a brand leading business, this role requires previous experience of working at business partner level, ideally within a commercially focused and unionised environment.


The role will be to engage with and influence at a strategic level towards long term goals for organisational change, employee engagement, talent management, resource and succession planning and drive the HR offering forward by identifying opportunities for continuous improvements or developments.

This will also involve supporting managers locally with employee relations cases, recruitment campaigns, learning & development initiatives and ensuring plans are in place for the wider HR team to offer their support.

Building strong relationships with managers and your colleagues across each department will enable you to do this and make appropriate recommendations for HR solutions.

You must be able to manage complex people related issues with management, employee representatives and trade unions and this skill will be key to your success in the role.

Ideal candidates will have significant experience of providing a true Business Partnering service to stakeholders in a multi-site unionised environment. Key skills: up to date legislation knowledge, managing conflict, complex employee relations cases will be required alongside a customer focused, consultative, flexible and influential approach to stakeholder management.

Candidates must be prepared to travel to other sites as well on a regular basis.
