Description

Role of the Specialist HR Data Analytics in London:

The purpose of this role is to drive actions and decisions by analysing people data, identifying trends and reporting on actions and proposed solutions. The role has to analyse, support and challenge the business through metrics reporting, predictive analysis and insight for action.



Key Accountabilities



* Run the Monthly Business Review reports for the People team, including analysis of custom data, pointing out relevant trends, outlining next steps/actions





* Identify and report on insights, areas of concern and predictive analysis for the Monthly Business Review





* Produce specific operational and management reports with people data from systems (especially Sage People)





* Automate regular reports for the business using Excel or other tools





* Own and manage the People Ops dashboard





* Run the weekly payroll reports for payroll entry/processing ensuring the data is accurate





* Own and manage regular reports to key parts of the business such as Finance, Security, IT, People teams





* Own and manage the ad hoc report request process





* Take a pro-active approach to understanding report requirements from managers/ peers and challenge where necessary.





* Identify data collection issues and address them





* Process, cleanse and verify the integrity of people data





* Carry out relevant controls testing on people data





* Create dashboards on the HR system for various audiences, e.g. CPO, Head of Reward and People Ops





* Application of data privacy standards to report development


Profile

Experience required for the Specialist HR Data Analytics in London



* Good applied statistical skills





* Solid experience in an analytical role





* High degree of accuracy and attention to detai





* Extremely analytical, strong creative thinker with problem solving skills





* Advanced excel including pivot tables, look ups, graphs and charts, functions and formulae's





* Strong ability to manipulate and interpret complex data and management information





* Ability to contextualise, Visualise and present complex information to varying audiences





* Good interpersonal skills





* Experience of running reports from Sage People and/or other HR systems





* Understanding of how data is captured and transitions on Sage People or other HRIS system





* Good understanding of Human Resources processes and how they impact data





* Process improvement experience
