Your new company
Your new company is based in the easily accessible Blackpool area; an ambitious and rapidly expanding professional services company operating across three sites with a headcount of 170. This flourishing organisation is now looking to welcome a standalone HR Business Partner to join their busy team in their headquarters in Blackpool.
Your new role
Your new job will be overseeing the implementation of the STAR appraisal project in addition to giving full generalist operational HR support across the company including disciplinaries, grievances and absence management. You will be reporting directly to the Group Operations Director to advise on and develop strategies for solutions to staff retention, recruitment methodology as well as producing MI reports on retention and profitability, employee surveys, developing benefits and benchmarking salaries in addition to coaching line managers. You will also potentially have the opportunities to advise on the structure of the business and implement a HR system.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a CIPD qualified HR professional with a true generalist background. You will be a problem-solving and tenacious individual, experienced with HR projects and employee relations issues. You will be commercially astute and able to demonstrate your commercial impact on a business in addition to experience in change management and HR systems. You will have the ability to work autonomously as well as being comfortable dealing with the operational and strategic side of HR.
What you'll get in return
Our client is offering a competitive salary of £45000-£50000, bonus, in addition to 25 days holiday entitlement as well as bank holidays and workplace pension scheme.
